Alli Liver Damage – The FDA is looking into the possibility that alli causes liver damage after receiving 30 reports of illness with these symptoms.

If the FDA finds that alli and liver damage are linked, the only non-prescription weight loss drug the agency has ever approved, the popular diet supplement could be pulled from the shelves.

Alli and Xenical are both marketed by British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline PLC, though Xenical is manufactured Roche, a Swiss firm.
A spokesperson for GlaxoSmithKline said there has been no evidence that alli causes liver injury, saying that it primarily acts on the intestinal tract. Alli was studied in more 30,000 patients enrolled in 100 clinical studies.
Though the FDA says that dieters should continue to use alli pending further investigation, many are looking onto other weight loss alternatives until the FDA rules on it’s findings.
And that’s the latest chatter about alli Liver Damage.
