Another appearance of Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother is expected to be another hit for CBS. Britney plays a ditzy receptionist; now there’s a stretch, for a dermatologist where Radnor’s character, Ted goes to have his tramp stamp removed by Sarah Chalke of Scrubs fame.
Britney on How I Met Your Mother is possibly another attempt to regain some credibility by the star whose image and reputation have been in a downward spiral and whose life has been one big, slow-motion train wreck. She is hounded by the press, and if they only show a fraction of her bizarre behavior, just imagine what is never seen!
The new episode on Britney Spears on How I Met Your Mother will air on May 12th and after her last performance, she may start to overcome what she has become known for in recent years. That head-shaving, kootchie-pop flashing, ripped stocking image she has projected, not to mention her irratic actions with the court over custody of her two sons may be forgiven by fans.
The cast of How I Met Your Mother praised Britney’s last performance. Executive producer Craig Thomas stated, “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again.” Though Neil Patrick Harris is rumored to not be in favor of her reappearance, his character, Barney, wil surely make the best of it …Baby, one more time.

The trouble with her is nearly always the same. We should only be sorry for the wee thing. She would be better off with some type of rehab or coaching or training or something like that. I absolutely enjoyed her last album, and I’d hate it if we wouldn’t be hearing her amazing music again.
