Perkins closing is a little more than rumor at this point since the parent company lost neary $10 million in the first quarter.
The restaurant chain has about 500 locations, mostly in the Midwest, so if you want to keep your Perkins location open, go often and take your family and friends.
Perkins Restaurant also owns Marie Callender’s Restaurant and Bakery chain which is also suffering from similar problems, namely market share.
The semi-popular chain, Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, only has a small percentage of market share against very popular competitors like Denny’s and IHOP. Add in a menu that is competitively priced but not aggressively priced and disaster looms and threatens Perkins closing.
