The ‘yearbook photo girl’ is no Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm as her pot smoking mother would have us believe when she demanded that the yearbook company recall and reprint the Sickles High School yearbook minus her daughters kootchie-pop.

Now I’m not trying to take any sides here, i just heard about this. but i do feel the need to point out that smoking a hookah and smoking weed are not the same thing. yes, you can smoke weed from a hookah and there is a decent chance they are, but the main purpose of a hookah is to smoke a kind of tobacco specifically made for smoking from a hookah and there is an equal and possibly greater chance that that is what they are doing. Personally I’m a pot smoker and don’t care who is smoking or not smoking for that matter, but to assume someone is a pothead because you saw one picture of them smoking a hookah is just ignorance.

Why Can’t the School just dot the picture with a green marker, green like her dress, or use photshop to cover it , there or not, by extending her dress down? they could then comtinue printing them and everybody would be happy.
I’d like to see the original; not for any thrill, but just to judge the controversy for myself. But, if That would be intrusive to her, I’d let it go.
