Carmen Canas – Carmen Cannas is suing Sally Hansen over a waxing mishap that left burns on her body and you won’t believe how much she is asking for.
Carmen Canas lives in New Jersey and was transported to St. Mary’s hospital in Hoboken and later transported to another hospital’s burn unit.
Now she is suing Sally Hansen after she sustained burns on her lower back, breasts, and thigh when removing the hot wax product from the microwave. Now she is suing for $160 million!
“It is unconscionable, how multi-million dollar corporations … are placing such dangerous products into the stream of commerce without taking into consideration the user’s safety,” said Canas’ attorney, Phil Rizzuto.
Carmen Canas and her Sally Hansen mishap is just one more example of the typical ‘injured party’ looking to blame someone else and now Sally Hansen products is the victim.
Okay, Chatter feels badly for this woman but this rather reeks of the woman who sued McDonalds because her hot coffee was hot and she spilled it on herself. Perhaps Sally Hansen did not take user’s safety into consideration, nor user’s stupidity.
