Ted Kennedy Seizure – The most recent report indicate that the Ted Kennedy stroke incident may have instead been the Ted Kennedy seizure incident.

The Ted Kennedy seizure was followed by a second seizure while aboard the helicopter transport flight from the Cape Cod to Boston, one government official said.
About the Senator Kennedy seizure, Ted Kennedy’s Senate office released the following statement: “It appears that Senator Kennedy experienced a seizure this morning. He is undergoing a battery of tests at Mass General Hospital to determine the cause of the seizure. Senator Kennedy is resting comfortably, and it is unlikely we will know anything more for the next 48 hours.”

At the hospital after the Senator Kennedy seizure, friends and family began arriving at the hospital. Kennedy’s son, Edward Jr., slipped past reporters about 1 p.m. Kennedy’s daughter, Kara, arrived at about 2:10. Joseph P. Kennedy II, a former Congressman and Kennedy’s nephew arrived soon after with his wife Beth.
Hyannis fire officials were notified at about 8:19 a.m. about the Ted Kennedy seizure. Senator Ted Kennedy, who officials first believed had suffered a stroke, was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital. From there, he was taken on a MedFlight helicopter and flown to Massachusettes General Hospital, according to local fire department Lieutenant Bill Rex.

The Ted Kennedy seizure news came as the Kennedy family was involved in a charity bicycle event that began earlier today at the John F. Kennedy Library in Dorchester, and was scheduled to conclude in Hyannisport with a lobster bake and concert.
And that’s the latest chatter about the Ted Kennedy seizure.
