Ted Kennedy stroke – Ted Kennedy was rushed to a Boston hospital Saturday, with media reports saying that he was suffering from stroke-like symptoms.

About the Ted Kennedy stroke, his senate office has released the following statement:
“Senator Kennedy went to Cape Cod Hospital this morning after feeling ill at his home. After discussion with his doctors in Boston, Senator Kennedy was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital for further examination. He is currently under evaluation, and information will be released as it becomes available.”

More on the Ted Kennedy stroke: In October, Kennedy had preventive surgery at Mass General to unclog a partially blocked carotid artery in his neck. The blockage was discovered during a routine check of Kennedy’s back and spine, doctors said. A blocked carotid artery can lead to a stroke and death.

According to an article in the Cape Cod Times, Ted Kennedy, age 76, had fallen ill at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport. Hyannis Fire Lt. Bill Rex told The Associated Press that a 911 call came in from the compound at 8:19 a.m. Could this be punishment for endorsing Obama?
He is currently under observation and coherent. Hmm, coherent is not a term usually applied to Ted Kennedy.
And that’s the latest chatter about the Ted Kennedy stroke.

Hmm, some reports say it is a seizure, not a stroke.
