Nicole Lamarche – Former Miss California Nicole Lamarche traded in her gown and bikini for a reverends robe when she became a minister in the small Cape Cod town.
Nicole Lamarche is now an ordained minister at the Cotuit Federated Church and has been for about two years.
The former beauty pageant queen had a rocky start at this small church when parishoners discovered she had once strutted the stage in a bikini. Some church members left when they just couldn’t accept the “pastor in a swimsuit thing”.
But Nicole Lamarche saw these pageants as a means to an end since she needed money to finish seminary school in California.
When she became the new minister at Cotuit Federated Church, the congregation was doubtful since young, single females can be unpredictable, but Lamarche soon won over most of the churches members and has now married a man she met at seminary school.
She is now seen as a breath of fresh air in this tiny Cape Cod village and has brought new life back into the small church she now calls home.
That’s the latest chatter about Nicole Lamarche.

After completing cosmetology college I had the time of my life, travelling on cruise ships, visiting far off destinations, and having great adventures. Granted it was hard work but such a great opportunity and experience.
