Solar Bra – Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd now has an environmentally friendly, green ‘Solar Power Bra’ which features a solar panel worn around the stomach.
The solar bra looks like astroturf yet is described by model, Yuko Ishida, as being very comfortable. Hmm… astroturf worn around the torso, sounds very comfy.
This solar power bra will not be for sale in the near future according to Triumph International spokeswoman, Yoshiko Masuda. It is meant more to send an eco-friendly message, that undergarments could one day save the planet.
The maker of the solar bra has also invented a bra that converts into a reusable shopping bag, and a bra that holds metal, reusable chopsticks. That’s right ladies, just whip off your bra in the grocery store to carry the other mellons, and show your dinner date just how environmentally friendly you are sticking your hands down your blouse to retrieve your….um, chopsticks. He’ll be very impressed.
The solar power bra reportedly generates enough power to recharge your mobile phone or iPod. The Tokyo maker suggests not getting the bra wet as it can produce a shock. Yes, I’d say that it is a little shocking.
Can’t you just see the ads now. Boobs go green! Forget Victoria’s Secret, astroturf is sexy.
