Sexting Suicide – Pics and video of Jessie Logan, the high school senior who committed suicide after sexting a nude photo of herself to her boyfriend, who in turn sent it to everyone else at her school, where Jessie was mercilessly harassed for months until she killed herself.

Jessie Logan was a petite, blond-haired, blue-eyed, fun-loving girl who made a mistake and then paid with her life when other students refused to leave her alone about her embarassing sexting mishap.

Her mother says that one group of students was particularly merciless and Jessie’s grades plummeted, she started skipping school and when she did go to school, she would hide in the bathroom to avoid being teased.

The school resource officer at her school said he tried to do something to help Jessie Logan. He confronted the kids who were malevolently harassing her and even took Jessie’s case to the prosecutor to see if he could press charges. But he said that because Jessie was 18, there were no laws to protect her.

Her mother, Cynthia Logan also blames school officials for not taking action, saying they refused to send a letter home to parents warning them about the situation.

“To have a nude photo being disseminated throughout the school of your child, how would you feel as a parent?” she asked. “Wouldn’t you want other parents to know?”

On July 3, 2008, Jessie Logan attended the funeral of a boy who had committed suicide, then came home and killed herself.

Her mother found her hanging in her bedroom closet, with Jessie’s cell phone on the floor nearby.
