Kenneth Lee Johnson – An Illinois middle school teacher named Kenneth Lee Johnson has been charged with possession of child pornography and admitted to molesting 75 boys in the last 35 years.
Kenneth Lee Johnson has taught Social Studies in 34 for twenty years though Superintendent Scott Thompson said, “Right now, we have no indication there were any victims in our school district.”
None of the alleged victims have been substantiated but Lake County officers seized DVD’s, printed material, and a computer containing more than 1000 images from the Kenneth Johnson home.
The accused is being held on $500,000 bond and has been placed on leave from his teaching job.

Cities like Harrisburg, Washington DC and other capitals have less flexibility because of the high amount of tax exempt property in their boundaries — effectively an additional public subsidy of government functions. Some cities like this have higher water or utility rates to make up the difference (politicos and their friends presumably go to the bathroom and wash their hands, benefit from clean streets and police protection). An “impact fee” from the state to equate to lost property taxes or services consumed would at least be fair — although unlikely to go as far as covering their incinerator debts.
