Robert Aragon - Jerome Idaho resident Robert Aragon has been charged with second degree murder in the death of eleven year old daughter Sage Aragon whom was made to walk 10 miles in sub-zero temperatures on Christmas Day.

Robert Aragon has been charged with second degree murder of Sage Aragon after she died of hypothermia, and has also been charged with felony injury to a child.

The truck that Aragon was driving became stuck in the snow andĀ the fatherĀ told Sage and her brother, Bear Aragon, to walk in the snow and sub-zero temperatures to their mother’s house that was 10 miles away.

The Aragon children apparently seperated during their trek after a disagreement about whether to continue on or turn back. Sage Aragon’s body was found 2.7 miles from where the truck had been stranded.

The children’s mother JoLeta Jenks stated that she called Robert Aragon before contacting the police when the children never showed up, and Aragon had returned home in his truck. Police dogs found the body of Sage Aragon in knee-deep snow and her brother, Bear was found alive but delusional from hypothermia.
