Woodbury Elementary School - Woodbury Elementary School in Vermont has taken the next step in eliminating the Pledge of Allegiance from the classroom - See the video of atheist Mike Newdow justifying the schools actions.

Woodbury Elementary School has begun sending students out of the mainstream classrooms to say the Pledge of Allegiance because of the controversial ‘One Nation Under God’ statement.

Students must now leave the classroom every morning, report to the gymnasium at Woodbury Elementary School, and say the Pledge of Allegiance separated from the few students who do no want to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

What administrators at Woodbury Elementary don’t seem to realize is that 92% of Americans believe in God. 89% of American citizens do not want ‘One nation under God’ removed from the Pledge of Allegiance where it has been since 1954.
Mike Newdow who lost his case with the US Supreme Court to have ‘One nation under God’ removed from the pledge and the classrooms, still believes that 92% of the American population should concede to him and the 8% of the American population who do not want to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
The reports do not state how many children at Woodbury Elementary School do not participate, nor the percentage of children that must hide in the gymnasium to practice their right to say the Pledge of Allegiance, but here is just one more example of the extreme minority dictating to the mass majority.
That’s the latest chatter about the controversy at Woodbury Elementary School.

This guy may seem a little happier if he had God in his life. Not once did he smile during this interview. I wouldn’t want any part of what he will face in the end, would you?

This is Ted Tedesco and I and 310 plus (only about 600 plus voters in the town) signers of a petition that circulated here in Woodbury, Vermont want the Pledge of Allegiance back in the classroom. This is not about making anyone say the Pledge. That has been unconstitutional since 1943. This is about allowing those children who want to say the Pledge to stay in their classrooms and not be forced to leave.
