Teah Wimberly - Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale FL, Teah Wimberly, has been charged in the shooting death of 15 year old Amanda Collette.
Teah Wimberly shot and killed Amanda Collette in the hallway of Dillard High School while classes were changing between classes.
Amanda Collette was shot in the torso and rushed to Broward General Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Information provided by by those who know the alleged shooter, Teah Wimberly, said that the Dillard High School shooting could have resulted from a lesbian fixation which was not reciprocated by the victim.
Teah Wimberly allegedly shot Amanda Collette, fled the school grounds, and called police from a nearby restaurant saying she shot her friend.
Police say this is an isolated incidentand there is no further danger to Dillard High School students.
