Boycott Oprah - The Florida Federation of Republican Women has called for an Oprah boycott and the movement appears to gaining speed.
The call to boycott Oprah came in response to the daytime TV hosts refusal to interview Sarah Palin as a guest on her show.
No secret, Oprah is behind Obama since she interviewed him twice before he announced his run for the White House though she has said she will not have any active candidate interviewed on her show.
“She is an icon, and set her herself up to be such a women’s rights and women’s issues person. To have the first vice president of our lifetime on the Republican ticket being a woman and to sit it out regardless of what her personal political beliefs were was disingenuous, we felt,” the group’s First Vice President Cindy Graves told FOX & Friends on Wednesday morning.
Asked to boycott Oprah by the Florida Federation of Republican Women has spread beyond Florida to dozens of other states as well.
The boycott calls on women to cease watching the Oprah Show on CBS and the shows sponsors and advertisers as well as O Magazine and it’s advertisers and sponsors.
