The Miley Cyrus name change has been talked about for weeks, but now the Los Angeles Superior Court has made it official. Her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia Cyrus petitioned the court in March 2008 to approve the name change.
The new Miley Ray Cyrus said, “I am getting my license, so instead of having a thousand different names on it, just having Miley Ray, which is also kind of cool because my name and my dad’s names look alike.”

I think it was nice that Miley changed her name. I mean, Destiny Hope is a beautiful name, but Miley Ray is even more beautiful. It wouldn’t have mattered to me if she changed her name or not. She is still a wonderful person, a great singer, and an awesome role model. All of these rumors about her make me sick, she doesn’t deserve any of this because none of them are true! If you are a true Hannah Montana fan than pictures that go around about her saying that she’s bad, shouldn’t bother you. You know the truth…but if you agree with what people say about her, then you are really no better than the people who make up these lies about her…
