Worlds Ugliest Dog – The worlds ugliest dog shown in pictures and video here was crowned at the annual contest in Northern California. The 2008 winner is Gus the Chinese Crested.
The Worlds Ugliest Dog crown was won last year by Elwood, also a Chinese Crested.
Gus the Ugly Dog has three legs, skin cancer, and only one eye.
The ugly dog contest is an annual event, and ugly Gus beat out some other extraordinarily ugly dogs.
Plenty of other breeds enter the contest, but the Chinese Crested seems to be the favorite among ugly dog lovers.

The ugliest dog owner Jeanenne Teed traveled from Florida to claim the crown. She plans to use the $1000 prize to help pay for Gus the Ugly Dog’s skin cancer treatments.
