Pregnancy Pact – Glouchester High School students made a pregnancy pact and now the schools teen pregnancy rate is through the roof in Gloucester, Massachusettes.
The pregnancy pact was made for the 2008 school year. A group of girls agreed to try to become pregnant and raise the babies together.
About the pregancy pact, the school officials said they know something was amiss when over 150 pregnancy tests were requested this year at the school clinic. Many of the girls seems disappointed if the results were negative.
Gloucester High School has 1,200 students in a conservative city of 30,000. The high catholic population is struggling to come to grips with the bizarre pregnancy pact.
Still, the town will not allow the school to offer birth control without parental consent. Smooth move grandma and grandpa!
