I am waiting for Dave and the prize patrol to knock at my door. Not if, but I pray, when I win the Million Dollars it would be a life changing experience for my girls and I. It has been a rough year. My mom and brother passed away. My 16 year od daughter was diagnosed with cancer. My 13 year old was hit by a car. My 22 year old was so truamatized by everthing but she managed to graduate college last May. That was a blessing in it self. I had a hear attack last January and am disabled. I can no longer work as a police dispatcher. Winning would change our lives and give us hope for the future. It has been a struggle but we will survive and overcome. I write this story hoping that PCH reads it and find my girls and I deserving of the prize and also to let someone else out there know the life may be tragic at times but pick yourself up and keep moving. Thats what I would do with the money, just go all over encouraging everyone that life is great even thru the storm. Thanks in advance. I am waiting just holding my breathe.(SMILE).

My wife and I hep and contribute to several organizations. We are Christians and would like to start a ministry for our community. I have been out of work for 9 months . I am currently on the second extension of unemployment with one to go. We have several thousands of dollars in debt to doctors and hospitals and other. If I WIN! I would used the money to start my whole life complete set up. I would used some of the money to help the most childrens/ family need. some money wll go to christian childrens and st judes children memorial Hospital reseach. I have been reading everyone else’s comments and no, I don’t have a family member that was diagnosed with a terminal disease or a family member that has recently passed from a horrible accident. I can tell you that life has been rough. I raised two children with what little I had. My wife and I thought we could get through life if we just worked hard (no college degrees), paid our bills and did onto others as we would like to be did onto. Well, things don’t always go the way you expect them to. The economy has did us in. We lost our home, I lost my job (my 29 year son worked with me so he lost his job too), my 27 year old daughter was laid off, my wife broke her hip in a crazy accident at the worst possible time and her job is only part-time with no benefits. I was self employed making a modest income so there is no unemployment benefits. My mother in law lives with us so we can help care for her (she’s blind and old) and we are in our 50’s with no retirement or money. Hopefully we don’t lose this house too (mom helped us buy this one after we lost the last one at our age!). You see I have a small siding business and since the housing industry is in the toilet there are no homes being built hense no work. Also, the contractors out there that are fortunate enough to have work hire the younger ones. I don’t need much, just enough to pay my bills and have a little fun with the life I have left. If I won millions I would be happy to help others in need, I always have, that’s why I’m in the position I’m in. I have been playing the PCH game for years by snail mail just waiting for them to come knocking at my door, HEAR ME ROAR I can’t believe I won!!!

I have entered PCH drawings through the mid 70’s and beyond and have watched my mailbox as prompted by McMann and Dick Clark since then up to this present time but have yet to win anything. I have ordered products over the years in an effort to entice a knock on my door but since retiring have slowed and nearly stopped that process realizing its futility. A Lottery chance is one in millions yet someone somehow wins although I have always wondered if those winnings are somehow fixed since I always come up on the short end of the stick along with millions of others who say “why not me?” Still we enter caught up in a web of greed hoping for the unlikely impossibility of that relished event. Hi Dave,Eve,and Todd, I hope to meet the team sometime soon!!! I know everyone`s life stories are different and the team has probably them all. I know you are dying to hear my story!!! My wife and I are both on retired incomes with her youngest son and his family of two young girls living with us. He is unable to work due to VA disability and is tied up in paperwork that does not allow him to earn an income to help with bills. Getting back to the wife and I, married 12+ years,unable to see and end to bad health(both of us have had two heart attacks each),I have had stent surgery. The bank has tried twice to foreclose on our house,that needs many repairs. In our 12+ years the wife and I have been unable to have a honeymoon!!! My two sons live in Oregon, That I have been unable to see for several years. But,all in all we have our head above water for now like many other people these days!!!
