The Flirt is the first step of The Kind Diet and involves reducing meat and dairy and beginning to substitute animal based products for the things you are used to using, like butter and eggs.

The second step in The Kind Diet is the vegan. Alicia Silverstone describes this step as experiencing “the life-altering effects of forgoing animal-products entirely, while still enjoying many convenience foods and meat substitutes in addition to the wonderful grains, vegetables and fruits that form the core of that diet.”

Silverstone goes on to explain that the third step in The Kind Diet program: True enlightenment comes with the Superhero program, based on the principles of macrobiotics and built on a foundation of whole grains, vegetables, and other yummy foods.
