Kanye West Apology to Taylor Swift – Kanye West offered an apology to Taylor Swift after making a complete a– of himself at the VMA Awards aired on September 13, 2009.
Taylor Swift won the MTV VMA for best female video for ‘You Belong With Me’ and was barely into her acceptance speech when thug Kanye West appeared on stage, took the microphone away from Swift, and announced that Beyonce should have won the award for ‘Single Ladies’.
The MTV VMA crowd responded by boo-ing every time the name Kanye West was mentioned for the rest of the night.
West left the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall and was blogging his apology before the show ended, though other stars appearing on the show and fans came out strongly against Kanye West’s inexcusable behavior.
Beyonce ended the show by winning best video of the year, and in a very classy fashion, turned the microphone over to Taylor Swift to let the 17 year-old finish ‘having her moment.’
In an industry grown numb to outlandish behavior, Kanye West seems to have shocked his peers and fans by once again behaving like the narcisistic, bi-polar, ADHD poster child. Apologies only mean something if they are sincere, and the behavior is not repeated, but West does not seem to learn from his mistakes nor come to the realization that he is not nearly as important as he thinks he is.
And that’s the latest chatter about the Kanye West Apology to Taylor Swift.

Good morning,
I am an African American women, and I will say that I am extremely dissappointed with what Kanye did. I respect his opinion, however his timing sucked! I don’t listen to country music, but, this young woman worked hard, and earned the right to shine on her own without his rudely interrupting. Kanye is outspoken, and he has the right to express how he feels, but again it was not the right time. Kanye, please don’t follow in the footsteps of Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina by rudely interupting President Obama. Where is the respect????

I think what Kanye did was ‘classless.’ But I think it is unfair to label him a ‘racist.’ Speaking out against George W. Bush does not make you a racist. Would that make Micheal Moore a racist? More than 80 percent of the celebrities are ‘liberals’ politically. What Beyonce did to Taylor Swift was classy? Beyonce should have made NO apologies to Taylor Swift! Did Justin Timberlake take the same classy high road when he accepted his award ’sans’ Janet Jackson (breasts shown on primetime). Wow! How soon we forget! Welcome to the real world! It shows you how race relations work in America!

I remember the Katrina incident when ONCE AGAIN you turned attention to yourself just like with Taylor Swift. I tuly feel sorry for Kanye West, I apologize to Kanye for the Christians in his life not helping him with his sorrow in losing his precious mother. We see a young man hurting in the depths of his soul. May he seek God for his broken heart. Kanye you truly have been blessed use it to help others. Take a look back reflect on where you came from and where you want to go. Taylor is just a young girl you truly not only took her moment away you left her terrified.

Beyonce, Well done, you are always classy but you really shined at the VMA awards. It was fantastic of you to remember the feeling and elation you felt when you received your award at 17 and let Taylor have her moment and drink in the moment that Kayne snatched from her. Love the fact you and your hubby fly under the radar and we don’t hear anything negative about either of you. You are one classy lady, job well done and kudos to your Mom for her parenting skills.

Kanye West is just another example of money getting to these stars and causing them to have swelled heads as well as swelled egos. He had no business stealing Taylor Swift’s thunder. I read his lame apology and don’t feel he was truly remorseful. As a lesson to Kanye…. no one should download or purchase any of his music or anything to do with him. Hit him in the pocket, where this poor excuse of a performer makes his living. By the way Kanye…..your music sucks!!!!! I would download Taylor Swifts music on any given day and twice on Sunday!!!!

Kanye West had no respect for Taylor and was rude and ignorant! I didn’t like him before the awards ceremonies and I definately don’t like him now. If alcohol played a part in him making an ass of himself, then he needs to put that in check now. I hope his music sales fall drasticallly.Maybe that will teach him a lesson.

Typical of the mindset of the mass of folks out there today who think that this is their time to shine brighter than the whites – yes, it is a racial thing and it’s been at an all time high since the Obama nomination. An example on top of examples. He could’nt take that his black friend didn’t get it because her video was sub standard, so he took the opertunity to act out like a freaking animal, half drunk and away from his handalers. Security should have tased him.

I love taylor with very much, I know beyonce deserved that award, i’m not saying she doesn’t, but Taylor also deserves that award. what kanye west did was very disrespectful. she deserved that award because she’s gone through alot of ups and downs. When she broke up with Joe Jonas she didn’t just sit there and cry, which is what most stars do. anyways, all i’m trying to say is that Taylor Swift did not deserve that.
