She's a goddess. She should be given the 'mom of the year' prize if you ask me.
The only thing I find reprehensible was that her son was a minor but since she had given him up for adoption she wasn't technically a 'mother' to him. I mean hat she had not assumed a 'mother's' role, so sleeping with him is not something I would hold it against her. The guy must have had a great time with her.

I think I could bounce back from getting raped by her. Also Fry: no, it's not a MUST that something happened in her childhood. Heck, you're assuming she thought it was okay to do. People do stuff they don't think is okay. Trish: she's not 'just' a freak. Obviously incest is an abnormal thing to do, and thus you could call people who do abnormal things freaks, but freaks are people, more than just whatever in particular makes them a freak.

@Hope, how do you know all this? Did they really have sex or not? And how would you know either way, were you there? Do you know all of them personally? If so, why don't you go to a MAJOR media outlet and tell the true story? Since none of us were there, all we have is what the media tells us. Now we all know that the media can tell us anything they want, but if it's not true and you have some kind of evidence PROVING THAT, then you need to share that in a much larger forum than this blog. Until something tells us otherwise, why wouldn't the public have a right to be outraged by this?

The media and all these sights have decided to run these articles without truth or facts. She did give up her son at birth in an open adoption, where she picked out the parents. She has known what area he's lived in, and has exchanged photos and letters every year of his life, except for xmas 2007 when the adoptive parents were going through a divorce. The boy made the first contact, and they met with the okay of the adoptive mother. He had been getting into trouble and was in and out of the juvenile home. They met over a course of months and he spent time over vacation getting to know siblings and other relatives. He had been in so much trouble with the adoptive mother she even wanted the biological mother to keep him permanently, he had threatened his adoptive parents, and been diagnosed as being bipolar. She was warned by many not to get involved in this situation, but she loved him no less then her other children. Threats were made, and now all this has happened. The media and these crazy websites have sprung up all over with their unfair reporting. This is the sickest, and most horrible accusation that could be made and everyone is already condemning her. If they had one bit of evidence do you think they would drop any of the charges? In the climate we live into today, of the crimes against children would any of us stand by and let our courts plea to lesser charges? He is 16 now, do you think maybe he's angry knowing she gave him up, but has other children. Do you think that he's angry at the fact his adoptive parents have gone through an awful divorce, he's made threats against them too. People, there are other children involved that love their mother very much and they've had to see all this and hear peers discuss their mother, do you know what that does to kids? They range from elementary, to junior high, to high school. You have not only ruined Aimees life but those of her innocent children. What has the media gained by reporting these ugly accusations, but the tears of these children. They are suffering so, and this will follow them forever. Have you no shame. People need to stop talking and spreading half truths and outrageous lies, and let the process proceed. You should all hope an angry child, or spurned ex, or jealous rival doesn't accuse you of something you didn't do, could you handle it? People should pray for Aimee and this boy, who so desperatly needs help. When this has come to pass, I hope people will celebrate her innocence, with the same vigor, that they have condemned !

I hope psychologists can discover what happened to this woman to make her think it was okay to have sex with her son. Her mind must have been warped by something that happened in childhood.
